(Telecompaper) HP has introduced a new range of tablets, as part of its autumn line-up of new products. The tablets include the 7-inch HP Slate7 Extreme and 8-inch Slate8 Pro, both with the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor. The latter targets the business market and comes with software such as Kingsoft Office, HP File Manager, HP ePrint and HP Connected Photo. For consumers, HP also offers two new Android devices with optional 4G connectivity: the Slate7 HD and the Slate10 HD. Certain models of these two tablets will include two years of free mobile internet service (up to 200 MB of 4G data per month) on the T-Mobile network. HP is also introducing a 10-inch tablet running Windows 8.1 and an Intel Atom Z3000 processor, called the Omni10. In addition, customers can get its new Spectre 13 x2 ultrabook, with the latest Intel processor and a detachable screen that turns into a tablet. The tablets are expected to be available in the US in November. Pricing will be announced closer to availability.
