(Telecompaper) HTC announced revenues of TWD 70.7 billion for the second quarter, down 22 percent from a year earlier and in line with its outlook for around TWD 70 billion. The net profit fell to TWD 1.25 billion, down 83 percent year-on-year. In its preliminary report on Q2, the smartphone maker said it saw another difficult month in June, with revenues dropping 26.4 percent from a year earlier to TWD 22.1 billion. It will release more detailed results and an outlook for Q3 at a later date.
