Designed for use under thin-bed adhesives for ceramic tile, stone, and other hard surface installations, FRACTURE BAN™ eliminates transmission of stresses from substrate while dampening transmission of impact (ANSI A118.12) and air-borne noise (ANSI A118.13) through floor to room below. This reinforced, pliable, peel-and-stick membrane, made from hot-applied polymer modified asphaltic adhesive coated on 100% non-woven polyester, acts as anti-fracture and acoustical underlayment system.
