Hawthorne Bridge closed Sunday for maintenance

The Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all users this Sunday, April 26 from 7 a.m. until as late as 3 p.m. during annual maintenance work. During the closure crews will grease the counterweight cables and complete other annual maintenance tasks. The lift span will be in the raised position during much of the work. The work is weather dependent and will need to be rescheduled in the event of heavy rain.
