The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has scheduled a hearing in town Tuesday on a plan to expand a gas transmission line. Spectra Energy and Algonquin Gas Transmission System are hoping to build the Atlantic Bridge Project, which is designed to provide enough pipeline capacity to connect abundant natural gas supplies with markets in New England and Canada's Maritime Provinces.
