Hearing postponed for Upper Peninsula biomass power plant

State regulators have postponed a public hearing on a draft renewable operating permit for an Upper Peninsula biomass power plant. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality had scheduled the hearing for Oct. 29. It was to deal with a permit for L'Anse Warden Electric Company LLC in Baraga County.
