Heat is on to Finish a New Farm Bill

Source: American Farm Bureau Federation It’s incumbent upon Congress to finish a farm bill this year, according to the president of the American Farm Bureau Federation That’s because the farm bill is an economic stimulus bill that creates jobs and helps small businesses and rural communities every year, said  Bob Stallman. Congress can—and must—finish a farm bill this year, Stallman said in remarks presented to the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City. read more
