Intended for such assignments as hauling timber and heavy machinery, Volvo VNX is designed for applications up to 225,000 lb. It is powered by 16 L engine, which produces 600 hp and 2,050 lb-ft torque and is mated to automated IShift transmission. Also available, Volvo VNL daycabs are powered by 13 L engine for liquefied natural gas. Compression-ignition engine utilizes diesel fuel to ignite LNG, combining fuel efficiency with diesel-like durability and performance.
