Featuring central UHV tube and gate valve, Model HE-3-TLSUHV-STM offers top-loading access to low temperature, high magnetic field region for sample and tip exchange. System can be integrated with commercially supplied or user-built STM. Vertical, horizontal, and 2D/3D vector field superconducting magnets are fully integrated. With operating time of >80 hr at base temperature of <300 mK, system includes mechanical heat switch for rapid precooling, and cooled 4 K and 1.5 K radiation shutters.
