In addition to speeds made possible via sensor overclocking, iXon Ultra 897 EMCCD platform is offered with Optically Centred Crop Mode that offers fast frame rate performance from Region of Interest (ROI). Optically Centred Crop Mode facilitates centrally located ROI performance; frame rate of 569 fps is achievable from 128 x 128 ROI. OptoMask accessory facilitates use of this high-speed mode, which complements speed and sensitivity needs of live cell super-resolution microscopy.
