Highview Power Storage: Liquid Air Energy Storage site visit

Highview Power Storage and Viridor Waste Management Ltd won an 8m government grant in February 2014. The technology works by turning air to liquid at -196°C then using ambient heat to re-gasify which is then used to drive a turbine.
