A thief stole $40 cash between Nov. 15 and Nov. 17 from the room of a patient at Hinsdale Manor Care, according to Hinsdale police. A woman tried to pay for groceries Nov. 19 with a counterfeit $100 bill at the Whole Foods Market on Ogden Avenue, according to Hinsdale police.
