Holden company hired to put out landfill fire

The state has employed of a third-party company to put out the fires at the Harrelson Materials Management landfill in Shreveport. The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and the state fire marshal said Ferrara Fire Apparatus Inc., a fire fighting company out of Holden, is contracted to extinguish the fires.
