Featuring 400 mm pallet with workpiece capacity of 24.8 in. in diameter x 35.4 in. tall, Model a40 is suited for die cast parts commonly machined in automotive and consumer product industries. Machine offers X, Y, Z travels of 22.0 in., 25.2 in., and 25.2 in., respectively, with maximum payload of 880 lb. Equipped with 40-position automatic tool changer, Model a40 provides responsive CAT40 spindle acceleration to 12,000 rpm in 0.5 sec and 6,000 rpm rigid tapping synchronization speed.
