The 845 Series is comprised of low-noise and fast-switching microwave signal generators featuring fast switching speed of < 2ous, low spurs and harmonics, 100 KHz to 26.5 GHz, compact design, 1U package, and OEM board packages. They're ideally suited for applications that require a high-quality CW microwave source with versatile modulation. This application note describes the configuration for an extremely fast digital frequency sweep that can be well synchronized to external equipment using input and output trigger.
