(Telecompaper) Huawei Technologies reported first-half revenues up 30 percent year-on-year to CNY 175.9 billion. The company's operating margin reached 18 percent for the period, supported by "stable and healthy growth in all of its three business segments," according to CFO Meng Wanzhou. Huawei said growth started to pick-up at its enterprise division in the first half, and its consumer business benefited from its growing range of mid-range and high-end smartphones, especially the Mate7 and P8. In its main network equipment business, the company benefited from the continued expansion of 4G networks in its home market China, the migration to SDN and NFV as well as network capacity deals in other countries to support the demand for mobile data. The company did not provide further details on the half-year results.
