Huawei targets expansion in chip market with new Ascend AI portfolio

(Telecompaper) Huawei is expanding its semiconductor business with new AI chips and services. The new strategy to go beyond its own products and develop chips for other manufacturers was unveiled by chairman Eric Xu at the Huawei Connect event in Shanghai.
