System of IPT (Inductive Power Transfer)-based charging modules works on principle of construction kit: depending on bus size, charge of 60, 120, or 180 kW can be delivered wirelessly. Basic component of construction kit charging system for electric buses is 60 kW module. Charging modules are mounted in underground concrete shaft and connected to power grid. All that can be seen aboveground is concrete-and-steel charging plate; electricity only flows when bus is positioned above.
