To rectify marketplace confusion and workforce skills inconsistency, IREC is developing IREC Standard 14732:201X General Requirements for the Accreditation of Clean Energy Certificate Programs. IREC identified need to differentiate between certification and certificate programs as well as describe best practices and requirements that form foundation for accrediting clean energy certificate programs.
