IT investments expected to increase in 2013

Enterprises buying new mobile devices and investing in security and storage management will give IT spending a boost in 2013. Worldwide IT spending is projected to total $3.7 trillion in 2013, a 4.2 percent increase from 2012 spending of $3.6 trillion, according to research firm Gartner, which is becoming a bit more optimistic about the global economy.
