Infoblox agrees sale to Vista Equity for USD 1.6 billion

(Telecompaper) Infoblox has agreed to go private in a takeover by Vista Equity Partners for USD 1.6 billion. Infoblox stockholders will receive USD 26.50 per share cash, a 33 percent premium to Infoblox's average closing share price over the last 60 trading days. Vista specialises in enterprise software, analytics and risk management. The new owner's support is expected to help Infoblox expand sales of its DDI automation and DNS security products in the enterprise market. Infoblox said its Board of Directors received and evaluated multiple indications of interest before deciding to proceed with this transaction.
