Infosys posts 5% net-profit rise, raises outlook

Infosys Ltd. on Tuesday reported a 5% rise in its net profit in the first quarter, driven by higher revenues from its traditional outsourcing services. India's second-largest software exporter by sales said net profit in the three months ended June 30 stood at 30.30 billion rupees , compared with 28.86 billion rupees a year earlier.
