Intel's second quarter results top low expectations

Intel on Wednesday reported that its second-quarter sales and earnings fell from year-ago levels, but the company's results topped Wall Street's muted expectations. What's more, the company predicted that its sales in its current quarter would be slightly better than analysts were expecting.
