International Paper gives $55k in grants

Taylor Griffith/South Strand News International Paper's Georgetown Mill awards $55,000 in grants on Dec. 9 to 27 community organizations doing work with environmental education, literacy and IP employees. Christmas came early for 27 local organizations on Dec. 9 when representatives from the groups gathered at the main office of the International Paper Georgetown Mill and received grants totaling $55,000.
