EMMA ALBERICI, PRESENTER: Yvo de Boer was the executive secretary of the UN's Framework Convention on Climate Change from 2006 to 2010. He was famously reduced to tears in Bali in 2007 when talks for a global agreement collapsed. There was to be further frustration two years later in Copenhagen.
