Comprised of encapsulated radial through-hole ceramic safety disc capacitors, 900 Series is designed for interference-suppression AC line filtering applications. Safety certified capacitors are classified as either X and/or Y capacitors, respectively suited for primary use in line-to-line (across-the-line) and line-to-ground (line by-pass) applications. Depending on model, products are certified to withstand impulses up to 4, 5, or 8 KV.
