My first blog post for BEEF was in September 2008, following a summer internship with the magazine just before my senior year of college. Since then, Ive experienced many milestones in life and have had the pleasure with sharing these moments with all of you through this blog. I graduated from South Dakota State University (SDSU); moved home to our family ranch; got engaged and married to Tyler -- a guy I met on the SDSU Meat Judging Team; bought our own ranch site close to my childhood home; purchased cattle; and most recently, had our first child.
