Investigates: Scrutinized guardrails pass first safety tests

The type of guardrails being scrutinized in Kentucky and dozens of other states because of safety concerns have passed the first four of its government-mandated crash tests. On Friday, the Federal Highway Administration released reports saying Texas-based Trinity Industries Inc.'s ET Plus guardrail heads didn't slice through vehicles as critics claimed was part of a design flaw.
