Invista invests US$1bn in world-scale ADN China plant

US-based fibre producer Invista has begun work to bring its latest Adiponitrile (ADN) technology to China in a US$1bn investment to satisfy what strong, local demand for the intermediate chemical, which is a key ingredient for nylon 6,6 fibres and plastics.
