Dish Network is officially done trying to acquire Sprint. Is Dish's attempt to buy influence over Clearwire finished, too? The same day Douglas County-based Dish Network Corp. formally withdrew its bid for Sprint Nextel Corp., Sprint hiked its offer to acquire Bellevue, Wash-based Clearwire Corp. to $5 a share.
