Its official: 2015 replaces 2014 as the hottest year on record

New climate data indicates that 2015 was the warmest year on record by a long shot, knocking 2014 off its perch. Fifteen of the top 16 warmest years on record have occurred since 2000, and new data suggests that the so-called global warming "hiatus" was a myth.
