J.B. Hunt Profit Inches Higher in Second Quarter

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. on Friday announced an increase in its second quarter 2015 net earnings to $103.4 million, or diluted earnings per share of 88 cents. This compared to second quarter 2014 net earnings of $93.4 million, or 79 cents per diluted share, for the Arkansas-based trucking and intermodal freight transportation provider.
