Jackson-area fire in California explodes to 1,200 acres

About 17,000 customers are without power as crews continue to battle a large wildfire in the Jackson area. The 1,200-acre fire is threatening some structures, prompted evacuations and has jumped the river in Amador County into Calaveras County.
