Aspen Daily News: When it comes to protecting the environment and addressing climate change, America has a lot of work ahead of it, former President Jimmy Carter said in Aspen on Tuesday. Carter, 89, the 39th president of the United States and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, spoke in front of a packed ballroom at the Hotel Jerome on Tuesday as part of the American Renewable Energy Day summit.
