Johnson Controls Inc. plans to indefinitely suspend work on its Project Unity IT program at its office in West Allis, potentially impacting 197 employees, according to a WARN notice put out late Friday afternoon by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. In a letter dated Aug. 26 from a Johnson Controls vice president to the state's Dislocated Worker Unit, the company said it expects to begin eliminating Project Unity positions from its facility at 801 S. 60th St. on Sept.
