Johnson Controls to expand production of start-stop batteries

Johnson Controls Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to expand production of advanced batteries used in start-stop vehicles as demand for the technology grows. The plan requires further investment in its Toledo, Ohio, factory that produces absorbent glass mat batteries for start-stop applications.
