Jos. A. Bank occupies about 900,000 square feet of real estate in Carroll County, including this building at 500 Hanover Pike in Hampstead. Jos. A. Bank will lay off 122 employees from its Hampstead corporate location by the end of the year in the first large-scale job cuts made public since rival Men's Wearhouse Inc. purchased the clothing retailer last year.
