KPN introduces security package for SMEs

(Telecompaper) KPN has introduced SME security package MKB Veilig (SME Secure), a package that enables businesses to secure multiple smartphones, PCs and servers. The security package comes with a security scan, malware protection, online backup and an installation service. The package can be adjusted to the size and needs of the company. Customers can put their package together, choosing between the different variants available in the Internet Veiligheid (Internet Safety) package, with backup capabilities and security scans.With MKB Veilig, KPN hopes to fill a gap in its portfolio, KPN director of Security Services Ewout Visser said. KPN's security package was presented during the kick-off of the nationwide "Safe Business Internet" roadshow. KPN is a partner of the campaign. A campaign bus with promotion teams will move across the country to provide information and advice. Safety advice, scans and workshops are part of the programme, which will be conducted together with the Regional Platforms for Crime Prevention.
