(Telecompaper) KPN will introduce from 01 July new mobile plans. In addition to plans with 100 or 200 units, the Dutch operator will offer 'All-in-one' bundles, with unlimited calls, SMS and data, including 4G access. The new plans in price according to the amount of data and type of handset included. The changes see KPN abandoning the short-lived handset lease model it introduced in 2012. According to Jesper Eriksen, head of Consumer Mobile at KPN, the new structure meets the growing consumer demand for data services as well as providing customers with more certainty at the start of the contract of the total costs. The new Basis Mobiel offer comes in two versions, Basis 100 or 200, with the same number of minutes, SMS and MB. The price depends on the phone and ranges from EUR 29-45 per month with a basic, standard or luxury phone. The All-in-one plans come with 500 MB, 2GB or 4GB data as well as unlimited calls and SMS. Depending on the type of handset, the price varies from EUR 45 to 75. After using up the monthly data, the speed is cut to 64Kbps, and customers can then add more data for EUR 5 per 250 MB.
