Ein Großteil der letzten Buchenurwälder, die es in der Europäischen Union heute noch gibt, befindet sich in Rumänien. Doch Woche für Woche werden dort Tausende von Bäumen legal und illegal gefällt. Das Holz wird ins Ausland und an große Holzbetriebe in Rumänien verkauft. Aktuell berichtet die rumänische Umweltorganisation Agent Green von Kahlschlägen in den Tarcu-Bergen.
