Kansas City Southern names Ottensmeyer as president

On Friday, the Kansas City-based railway company announced Ottensmeyer will be promoted to president on March 1. A release said the move is part of the company's succession-planning process. Ottensmeyer, currently the company's chief marketing officer, will continue to report to CEO David Starling .
