Kroger buying Macy's site at Kingsdale

Public records show Cincinnati-based Kroger late last week bought the Macy's property for $10.5 million, not long after Macy's announced its plans to shutter the 45-year-old store that was originally a Lazarus. "This week, City Manager Ted Staton spoke briefly with a Kroger representative who confirmed that the purchase was finalized Thursday, January 15, 2015.
