Kroger commits to all cage-free eggs by 2025

Kroger stores nationwide will no longer sell eggs from caged hens by 2025. The announcement by the nation's largest supermarket chain late Wednesday followed a campaign by animal cruelty activists against the national grocer, including a billboard posted in sight of the chain's Cincinnati headquarters earlier that day.
