(Telecompaper) LG has announced the Optimus L SeriesII of smartphones ahead of its launch at the Mobile World Congress. It comprises the L3II with a 3.2-in screen, the L5II with a 4-in screen and the L7II with a 4.3-in display. The Optimus L SeriesII adds four design elements to the first L Series handsets, which sold over 10 million units in the first 10 months. The additions are a seamless layout, laser cut contour, radiant rear design and smart LED lighting on the home button. The dual-Sim version of the Optimus L7II will be the first in the series to become available. It is being released in Russia during the week of 12 February. The L7II features a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 processor, 768MB or RAM, up to 4GB of memory, a 4.3-in WVGA IPS display, 8MP camera with LED flash, front VGA and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
