(Telecompaper) LG Electronics a new range of entry-level LTE smartphones. The Optimus F series will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Optimus F5 comes with a 4.3-inch IPS display and 5 megapixel camera and runs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 2,150mAh battery. The Optimus F7 offers a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera, 2GB RAM and 2,540mAh battery. Both run Android 4.1.2 and come with 8GB internal storage plus a memory card slot. They will include features such as the upgraded QSlide and Live Zooming, previously only available on LG's premium devices. QSlide allows users to open two apps at the same time, both in full screen mode, and Live Zooming allows the user to zoom into a specific area while watching a video. Additional features included in both F Series devices are QuickMemo, QTranslator, Video Wiz and Safety Care. The worldwide rollout of the Optimus F5 will begin in the second quarter in Europe, followed soon by the Optimus F7 in selected markets. Exact timing and pricing will be announced at a later date.
