The Waste Not of Yamhill County/Stop the Dump Coalition has requested from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) an administrative hearing on its recent approval of a 40-foot-tall earthen berm at Riverbend Landfill.    In a release from the coalition, group President Ilsa Perse noted that the contested case hearing is normally granted in such cases only to applicants whose permit requests have been denied by DEQ.
