Landstar posts strong revenue growth in fourth quarter

Strong revenue growth in the final quarter of 2014 capped off a year in which Landstar System Inc. saw revenue grow by almost 20 percent. Net income for both the year and the quarter fell from the previous period, due in large part to the sale of the Landstar Supply Chain Solutions companies boosting results in the fourth quarter of 2013.
