Landstar's stock a consistent winner

James Gattoni will have a tough act to follow as he succeeds Henry Gerkens as Landstar System Inc. chief executive officer, at least as far as stockholders are concerned. Other than one dip during the last recession, the trucking company's stock has been on a generally straight upward trend since it went public in 1993, and that strength has continued this year.
