Used to produce complex components up to 8 tons, UniSpeed 6 travelling-column machine offers 3,000 x 1,300 x 1,300 mm (X/Y/Z) working volume. Mill-turn version replaces 3 x 1.6 m table with 1.6 m dia rotary table that allows parts up to 3 ton to be turned in-cycle, with constant surface speed capability, at up to 250 rpm. Direct drive to 36 kW/6,000 rpm (max) spindle reduces wear and eliminates heat generation in gears, and 50-taper tools are automatically exchanged from 48-station magazine.
