A Massachusetts woman sued sneaker-maker Skechers in federal court this week, alleging the company's athletics shoes caused injuries requiring multiple ankle surgeries. Kathleen Frazer 's suit states: "As part of their promotional campaign, Skechers recommended that, for maximum benefit, Shape-ups be worn consistently in place of other footwear.
